iR C5051 A/B size only detection on scan bed, won't detect inch sizes

Hey all,

We have a C5051 and it will only detect the nearest A size sheet when Scan/Send from the bed. Auto feed tray works fine. We only use inch sized sheets. Is this a setting I can change? Googling and searching forums hasn't turned anything up and I'm out of ideas/patience. Any chance someone knows how to fix this?
