Can the Canon Microfilm 300 Scanner - be loaded to be a TWAIN compliant scanner? in WIN 7 64 bit?

I am trying to get a Canon Microfilm 300 scanner to function under Windows 7 64 bit and/or under Virtual PC XP.

In windows 7 the SCSI adapter is seen and the SCSI Scanner is seen. But will not be seen by the software. Under Virtual PC XP mode - it does not see the SCSI adapter nor the scanner.
