    <description>&lt;P&gt;I have an MX 455 connected to the local network via WiFi. When trying to install the drivers the installtation routine (mp68-win-mx450-1_00-ea32_2.exe) aborts with after installing the printer and the fax drivers. Manual installation of the scanner driver (MX450SC.INF) yields a success message from Windows but the scanner does not appear.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;So far I tried de-installation of all MX drivers, reboot, re-installation. No luck. The scanner does work with another computer running Win 7.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;System Info: Dell XPS 15, running Win 10 (15 11).&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Any ideas anyone?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Many thanks.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I received this from Canon support, and it did solve the problem:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;"Regarding your inquiry about PIXMA MX455 printer, we would like you to inform that since Microsoft launched the big November update, it was added a new feature that stops some of our drivers to install properly.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;To solve this situation please do the following:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;OL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Click on “Start” button;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Select “Settings”;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Then click on “Devices”;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;On the left side select “Printers &amp;amp; Scanners”;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Now on the right side &lt;STRONG&gt;turn off&lt;/STRONG&gt; the option “Let windows manage my default printer” (maybe you have to scroll a bit down to find this option).&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Try now to install the drivers again. The installation procedure should run now without problems."&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/OL&gt;</description>
