https://community.usa.canon.com/t5/Office-Printers/mf642cdw-Clunking-paper-feed-issue/m-p/602334#M31254 <P>I have a&nbsp;mf642cdw Color Image laser printer.</P><P>Recently it has been making a "clunk"ing noise when "grabbing" the paper.</P><P>When a print job is sent, the machine will "whirl-up" make a loud "clunk" then redo.&nbsp;</P><P>Most times it prints after this.&nbsp;</P><P>Other times it gets into a loop, whirl, clunk....whirl...Clunk...
