    <description>&lt;P&gt;I didn't uninstall the Windows updates but I did connect the printer to an old computer that runs Windows 10.&amp;nbsp; The printer works fine with the Windows 10 computer.&amp;nbsp; This, together with the fact that the printer functioned well until recently with the Windows 11 computers is the basis of my belief that an update is causing the problem.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The printer is connected via a cable to the Windows 11 computers, one a laptop and the second a desktop.&amp;nbsp; The computers are connected to the internet via wifi.&amp;nbsp; When I connected the printer to my computer Windows 10 computer I used the same cable and the Windows 10 was hard-wired to the internet.&amp;nbsp; Any suggestions would be appreicated!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I have a Canon LBP 1440 that has worked efficiently for 2-3 years until May 12, 2026 when Microsoft issued 2 new updates to Windows 11.&amp;nbsp; Since May 12, the computer and the printer do not connect.&amp;nbsp; I tried removing the printer and installing current Canon printer driver for LBP 1440 but computer doesn't see the printer.&amp;nbsp; Anyone know of a fix?&amp;nbsp; Many thanks for any suggestions.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;I'm not aware of any recent updates that has affected printer communication.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Your first step should have been to uninstall the Windows updates.&amp;nbsp; This would have allowed you to test if the updates were actually the cause of your issue.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;How is your printer connected and to what?&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;I'm happy to provide next steps once you reply.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;I'm afraid the information you've provided is contradictory.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;The printer is connected "via cable". This sounds like you're using a USB connection?&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Then you say the computers are connected to the internet "via Wi-Fi"&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Later you say the windows 10 PC&amp;nbsp; is "hardwired to the internet" which would indicate an ethernet connection.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Please clarify&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;You're using a USB cable to connect the printer between the two PC's.&amp;nbsp; How the computers are connected to the internet is likely not applicable to your issue.&amp;nbsp; Internet connectivity is not required for printing.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;You can still uninstall the updates on the PC that's experiencing printing problems to confirm your printing issue.&amp;nbsp; If that's not the problem, the updates will install again.&amp;nbsp; After uninstalling the Updates, you'll want to restart the PC before testing printing again?&amp;nbsp; If you're not sure how to do this, let me know and I'll provide the steps &lt;span class="lia-unicode-emoji" title=":winking_face:"&gt;😉&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
