&lt;P&gt;If you get a message on the printer and you have to confirm/change the paper settings on the display to start the printing, it usually means the incorrect printer driver is being used. You can try reinstalling the current version of the Windows driver from our site using the link &lt;A href="https://www.usa.canon.com/support/p/color-imageclass-mf642cdw" target="_self"&gt;HERE&lt;/A&gt;. It will be at the top of the list and will have Recommended written above it.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;If reinstalling the drivers did not resolve the issue, you can also &lt;A href="https://oip.manual.canon/USRMA-3547-zz-SSM-740-enUS/contents/devu-basicope-papers_pset-psize_ptype.html#0223_h1_01" target="_self"&gt;check the paper settings for the tray&lt;/A&gt; you have the paper loaded into. Make sure it matches the paper size and type that you are selecting in the print window on the computer.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;The message I get is ‘check and the paper size and type settings for the drawer are correct before performing the job’. I have checked the paper, paper settings, taken the drawer out and checked it too. Also tried turning it off and back on. Also, when trying to print from my iPhone, the printer shows up and then it fails to connect. I can still make copies.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
