&lt;P&gt;Typically the default administrator password on the GX2020 is the printer's serial number which is located on a sticker on the back or bottom of the unit.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;If that doesn't work you can try the word "canon" for both the username and password.&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;Register the device first in your MyCanon account.&amp;nbsp; Then contact support.&lt;/P&gt;

      <title>GX 2020 Cannot change default password</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I have a GX2020. I have been unable to change the default password. I cannot find a menu item on the printer to change it. Furthermore the Remote UI does not permit logging in until I change the Default Password.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I am having communication error during faxing that I hope to fix by logging in to the Remote UI&lt;/P&gt;</description>
