Greetings,

I have 2 QNAP's but I don't save scans to them. I do save backups however.

Where are you specifying the path to the NAS? I would do this in the printer's address book.

It sounds like you've already created the shared folder, granted rw access for the user.

Hi, need help! My mf753cdw II does not save scans to a shared folder on Synology NAS. The printer user does have access and permissions to write to the NAS folder, it's been checked from PC. The printer seems to connect to SMB server, because it shows error #804, not #806. The settings on the NAS side are SMB1 to SMB3:

Settings on the printer side are like this:

Other combinations of SMB settings result in error #806 on the printer.

Destination folders like '\\nas_name\scans\' , '\\nas_name\scans' and whatever variatoins with ip address, etc. I came up with dont' work.

Device information:

Yes, I use the same format for destination folder on the NAS. RW access for the user works. Printer reports error #804, when it is supposed to send scans to the shared folder.

Are you scanning from the MF scan utility or the printers LCD?

Where is the path to the save to destination being specified

Scanning from printer's LCD. The path is specified in favorites, and in coded dial, through remote UI, like on your screenshot.
