      <description>&lt;P&gt;Just purchased a MF273dw laser jet and scanner&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Downloaded the Canon MF Scan Utility but when I try to open it the box says no available scanner found.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;I can readily print but cannot scan.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Help&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;How is the printer connected and to what?&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;What operating system version and build are you using the using the printer with?&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;What software did you install besides the MF Scan Utility?&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;You need to look at the printer's networking settings and info to see if it has a valid IP address on your network.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Did you install the printer driver as well as the scanner driver? Can you print to it?&lt;/P&gt;</description>
