I am in France and brought with me a Maxify MB5300 from Mexico. It uses de PGI 2100 cartridges. In France they sel the PGI 2500 cartridges for the Maxify MB5450. The printer and the cartridges in France LOOK (images) exactly the same in the Canon France webpage; I want to know if I can use these cartridges in my printer, that is...are they compatible?

Greetings, .

I just saw your other post. I'll repost my answer.

Greetings!

Canon printers vary by country and region. The inks that they use are also manufactured specifically for models depending on where they are sold.

Even if they fit, inks intended for another "similar" model would not work in a printer intended for sale in another country.

So the answer to your question is no. It is not possible to use inks intended for another model printer in your device.
