    <description>&lt;P&gt;Ok - anything else to try?&amp;nbsp; I tried the above process three times - the scanner works to scan to a file, but printer still just rolls blank paper out, doesn't even hesitate like it is "thinking" of printing ink onto the paper.&amp;nbsp; I am at a loss.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello, I recently got the mf3010, after some initial troubleshooting with the scanner and printer I was finally able to use both successfully.&amp;nbsp; Today I tried to print a page after not using the print function for about 2 weeks and the printer starts up and only sends out a blank page ~ 15 attempts later and still no printed page, only blank sheet of paper.&amp;nbsp; When I tried a test page 2x both were also blank.&amp;nbsp; Scanner is operational.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I am connected via usb, windows 11 no error message a "P" is showing in the display.&amp;nbsp; I used the first button on the left (asterisk in a speech bubble?) icon and set it to "1" and still the same results.&amp;nbsp; I still have the Canon 125 starter toner cartridge in but only printed about 7 pages since I got set up.&amp;nbsp; I have powered it off and on, unplugged and replugged into the outlet, tried everything I can think of.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;What am I missing?&amp;nbsp; How do I check the toner level, I see from another post that you need to check via computer - can I have the instructions for that?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;Did you install software for the printer?&amp;nbsp; If so, which?&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;A href="https://www.usa.canon.com/support/p/imageclass-mf3010" target="_blank"&gt;https://www.usa.canon.com/support/p/imageclass-mf3010&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Also, when installing the device with a USB connection, its important that you not connect the printer until prompted to do so by the installer.&amp;nbsp; Otherwise, Windows will try to install it for you using a generic driver that might not be compatible or fully functional.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;The behavior you're describing sounds like a software issue.&amp;nbsp; I would suggest starting over.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Unplug the USB cable from your system. Open Settings and remove the printer from your computer.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;STRONG&gt;Important&amp;nbsp;&lt;/STRONG&gt; restart your machine.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;Now run the set up utility again and do not connect the printer until prompted to do so.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Thank you, I downloaded all from the Canon site:&lt;EM&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&lt;EM&gt;[Windows 64bit] UFRII LT Printer Driver V31.05 ,&amp;nbsp;[Windows 64bit] imageCLASS MF3010/ MF3010 VP MFDrivers (UFR II / ScanGear),&lt;/EM&gt; and&amp;nbsp;&lt;EM&gt;[Windows 32bit &amp;amp; 64bit] Tool Box&lt;/EM&gt; &lt;EM&gt;Ver.4.9.1.1.mf18&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;but do not have any other "software".&amp;nbsp; The printer did in fact work to print about a 7 page document 2 weeks ago.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If I follow the above instructions will the downloadable items suffice or is there something else I am missing?&amp;nbsp; Thank you for your advice!&lt;/P&gt;</description>
