The D570 is not currently supported on systems based on ARM processors. It is supported on Intel or AMD based systems.

Purchased and installed the Canon imageCLASS D570, serial # YPNxxxxx, 1/17/25

Identified my operating system: Windows 11 Pro; Version 24H2

Successfully tested the printing feature and then ran into problems scanning.

My Dell computer tells me "A scanner driver supporting this software is not installed. Install it and try again."

I returned to browsing and asked about Windows 11/24H2 problems with the Canon scanner. I found that there was a "fix" issued: KB5048667, and it should have automatically uploaded among the Windows Updates.

I returned to the Canon site and found a driver that is "recommended".

I successfully downloaded the recommended driver ([windows 64 bit] imageCLASS D570 MF Drivers (UFR11/PCL/Scangear)).

I printed a test page that says I have correctly installed the Canon D570 on my CPU.

But, when I attempted to scan, the computer responded with "ScanGear MF: Cannot communicate with scanner."

I tried the Canon #800/652-2666, but an automated voice put me on hold for 30 minutes before I disconnected.

I have not found a Canon "Chat" feature that

Hi GeeDub46,

Please visit the support portal for your device and install the MF scan utility version. 1.21.0.2.

Thank you for the advice. Unfortunately, the download did not fix my problem. I contacted McAfee to see whether their protection protocols were blocking my scanner. McAfee made sure that I had downloaded the correct Canon driver (I had.). They turned McAfee off, but I'm still getting the same result when I attempt a scan: "Cannot communicate with the scanner." I'll now focus on getting help from Canon (I have tried that before, but I was unable to get to a human being.).
