Greetings,

The D480 is not officially supported under Windows 11. The last OS it was supported under is Windows 10. Windows 10 drivers may work with Windows 11.

I suggest you visit the product support portal and download the latest drivers available.

Canon Support for imageCLASS D480 | Canon U.S.A., Inc. https://share.google/STeYvptQWYIvjNb13

You indicated that you tried installing Windows 10 drivers. If you plugged the printer in before installing the driver and being prompted to connect it, printing might fail. If these are the steps you followed, I would remove the printer from your Printers Applet dialog, disconnect it from its USB, uninstall the software and restart your system.

Then run the installer again and connect the printer only when prompted. This does not mean it will work but you can try. The printer is 17 years old. Compatibility is not guaranteed.

Hello, i am trying to install the Canon D480 printer on my windows 11 pc using the following drivers: "[Windows 64bit] imageCLASS D480 MFDrivers (UFR II / FAX / ScanGear)"

I have it plugged in via USB and i can get the printer added but only getting error messages when attempting to print.

I know its no longer supported so i'm wondering if it's possible to print with this machine on Windows 11?
