    <description>&lt;P&gt;Solved.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I had the same problem. Turned it on and off. Unplugged it. No dice.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Looked at data cable and noticed it went to wireless modem (one unit).&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;We recently had a lot of trouble on Black Friday day after Thanksgiving with our&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;network at home. So I just unplugged the modem and restarted it and the&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;stuck copy mode disappeared and the MX700 returned to its normal state.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Give it a try!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;img id="cathappy" class="emoticon emoticon-cathappy" src="https://community.usa.canon.com/i/smilies/16x16_cat-happy.png" alt="Cat Happy" title="Cat Happy" /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Try shutting down, unplug power, press power button&amp;nbsp;and then let it sit over night.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I don't know if this will fix it, but it should totally remove all stored power from the printer and wipe out any stored instructions.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
