    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi ranmanhockey,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Did this issue occur after a poewr failure?&amp;nbsp; If so, there is a power surge protection feature that may be causing this.&amp;nbsp; To get the printer to turn on after a power failure, unplug the unit for about 10 minutes and then plug it back in.&amp;nbsp; If this does not resolve the issue, please use the &lt;A target="_self" href="http://www.usa.canon.com/cusa/consumer/standard_display/contact_us_consumer"&gt;Contact Us&lt;/A&gt;&amp;nbsp;link to get in touch with our support staff who can provide service options.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
