Hello,

The printer not being able to wake up from sleep mode will usually point to a communication issue. If you are using a USB connection, you can try another port or make sure you are not connecting through a USB hub/extension. If you are connecting over a network, you can try moving the printer closer to the router, power cycling the router that is connecting the devices, or you can try setting a static IP address.

For help troubleshooting any connection issues or to check the hardware to see what is going on, I suggest contacting our support team over the phone at 1-800-652-2666. Our agents would be happy to assist.

I am about to return the garbage known as the LBP632C printer. This dumb thing goes to sleep and then will not come out without physical interaction and then sometimes it doesn't print as the job is no longer trying to send.

Is there a way to send a Linux command to keep it alive?
Anything in Windows I can setup as a scheduled task to make it think its busy to keep it alive?

Silly me... I purchased the LBP632C for the owner of the company I work for so who looks dumb? Canon? NOPE.... It seemed like a cheap option for a printer that only gets used 20 times a year or less but man was I wrong. I now see choosing to switch our HP's to canon was a mistake.
