topic imageCLASS MF733Cdw - Streaks and Blotchiness in Office Printers

Does this machine require further cleaning? Should I replace the cartridges? Time for a new printer?

This printer outputs documents with vertical streaks along the left and right edges in yellow and blue, vertical blotchy streaks of blue down the left-center, and the occasional blue blotch here and there. I've learned that I can reduce or eliminate these color artifacts on black and white documents by adding color to the font or a color border. I've used the menu to clean the fixing assembly without effect. I've replaced the toner cartridges with "Genuine Canon" through Amazon two years ago, but later got a notice from them that the cartridges were not in fact genuine.

So, what do I do? This printer is used at home and gets much less use that a typical office printer. I've owned it for about four years. Thank you.
