    <description>&lt;P&gt;For any streaks / banding it's recommended to change the toner cartridge. Hopefully your using real Canon toner. I believe if the cartridge is fairly new and causing issues Canon will give you credit (at least they should)&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I LOVE THIS PRINTER; however I just started getting toner spots in MAGENTA color.&amp;nbsp; I have now immediately changed the toner cartridge, but the spots continue.&amp;nbsp; Can you please forward the proper steps for cleaning the items that I need to clean on my model as was done in another stream for a different Cannon model.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi pgmerik.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;It is recommended that you perform a fixing unit cleaning and transfer belt cleaning.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Note that you cannot clean the fixing assembly when the machine has documents waiting to be printed.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;To clean the fixing assembly, you need plain A4 or Letter size paper.
