Purchased this printer a few months ago and am trying to print a picture for the first time. It prints color documents (e.g., PowerPoint slides) just fine but pictures print out almost completely black. I've tried all of the adjustments, remove and place the ink cartridges back, recycled paper, etc. I've tried printing as a word document, PDF, etc., and have tried multiple pictures. The same thing happens if I try to print a picture in B&W.

Original:

Printer

Original

Printer

Greetings,

A few additional questions. Are you using Canon brand toners?

"I've tried all of the adjustments". Whivh adjustments are those exactly?

Did you perform a color calibration / correction? This involves printing a calibration sheet and scanning it.

I use 96 brightness copy paper when I'm printing images. The pictures are nearly lifelike and pop right off the page. I never imagined pictures printed on a laser printer could be this good.
