MF465DW printer factory reset

Lost usernames and PINs for login to printer. Need to reset to factory settings.

Keeps telling me to access the SETTINGS menu from the printer display. There IS no SETTINGS menu on my display. It wakes up to a menu called HOME with a bunch of tabs labeled GENERAL, CUSTOM1, CUSTOM2, CUSTOM3, . .. How do I find this magical setting menu?? Isn't there a POWER BUTTON or some other "quick" reset method?

Can't log in to the IP address without the forgotten usernames/PINs. This has been really frustrating. Canon's website just takes you in circles when you try and get support. It's AWFUL.

Sorry that you have forgotten or misplaced the credentials for your printer's remote UI.

The MF465dw is a business class printer that has security features which keeps unauthorized users from making global changes to its configuration. Similar to a standard or admin user in an operating system.

Please contact Canon support. They will be happy to assist you with resetting and gaining control of your device.

I would start by registering your printer in your MyCanon account.
