&lt;P&gt;With the Maxify series, the ink tanks will not slide over to the middle unless the ink tank level is being detected as low or empty. If the yellow tank is not low, it will not slide over to the changing position. If the ink level indicator shows that it has ink and is not printing, it could be an issue with a clogged ink nozzle, and you can try performing a &lt;A href="https://support.usa.canon.com/kb/s/article/ART166003" target="_self"&gt;cleaning&lt;/A&gt;. If the cleaning did not help or if the printer can't detect the ink level, the tank might not be seated properly or there is something wrong with the hardware.&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I have a similar issue where the ink level indicator shows a "?" above the yellow cartridge. I want to replace or remove the cartridge to clean the contacts, but the cartridge carriage does not move to the cartridge replacement position.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The carriage is positioned to the right and blocked by the chassis. Is there a way to remove the cartridge?&lt;/P&gt;</description>
