imageCLASS MF753cdw Printer is telling me to insert cartridge

Hey, I have been trying to get my printer to work for a couple of days now, and I am stuck. I have a imageCLASS MF753Cdw printer that is telling me that I need to insert the magenta toner cartridge, though I already have. I have two replacements that I have tried and it still gives me the same message. They are a knock-off brand toner cartridge and I suspect that it could be my problem, but what doesn't make sense is that I have the same knock-off brand for the cyan as well, and it just tells me that it can't recognize the cartridge. My printer isn't working because it needs the toner cartridges "inserted", so I am looking for advice on what to do?

Also, with the toner being so expensive, I would also like some suggestions for some of the cheapest tonors that wouldn't give me too many fits. Thanks!!

Best advice. Use OEM toners. 3rd party inks and toners can be hit or miss. You may get a few batches that work, until they don't. Manufacturing and quality standards are not the best. You can get detection issues, inaccurate colors, spotting, streaks and/or faded prints.

It's difficult to make 3rd party recommendations since companies come and go. Quality and consistency cannot be guaranteed. In turn this can cause long term reliability issues. So my recommendation again is use Canon toner. If that's not possible, make sure you're buying from a company with a 100% return or exchange guarantee.
