Hi all - Looking to set the default output to PDF when using the operating panel - not the computer.

When I scan using the operating panel and save to computer the output defaults to a JPG. I need a PDF.

I've a;ready set all the settings in the scan utility from the computer to PDF with no effect.

Any assistance would be appreciated.

Greetings,

Try changing the default behavior of the LCD panel in the MF Scan Utility.

The left icon is for the computer, the right is for the printer. You can use the Defaults button at the bottom to return the settings to defaults. Let me know if this helps.
