    <description>&lt;P&gt;All of a sudden, I am not able to scan via WiFi, printing works fine though. The error message I'm receiving is &lt;EM&gt;"Cannot communicate with the scanner. The cable may be disconnected, or the scanner may be turned off. Check the scanner status and try again. Scanner driver will be terminated."&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I've tried rebooting (printer, modem, router), re-installing drivers &amp;amp; software (including Scangear and Scan Utility), but no success. The only recent change to my PC was a Windows 11 update.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Please help.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Exactly the same issue here (imageCLASS MF410).&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;Seeing as how I had never had a problem, and the only thing to change was windows updates, I went back to a disk image I had just recently created, and just like that, the scanner worked again.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Help!&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;If you are running into issues with scanning after updating Windows 11, you can try downloading and installing the &lt;A href="https://www.usa.canon.com/support/p/color-imageclass-mf642cdw" target="_self"&gt;Recommended version of our drivers from our Canon USA site.&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;If you continue to run into issues after installing the drivers, you can try performing a registry fix. The Windows 11 24H2 has caused some scanning issues across multiple scanner brands. You can download the registry fix using one of our &lt;A href="https://www.usa.canon.com/support/p/imageformula-dr-c230" target="_self"&gt;DR scanner downloads pages&lt;/A&gt;. You can use the steps in the link &lt;A href="https://support.usa.canon.com/kb/s/article/ART181189" target="_self"&gt;HERE&lt;/A&gt; to run the registry repair.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
