As Hector said, laser printers do not print edge-to-edge. But if you use the printer driver correctly, you can chose to fit the image to the page, which will shrink the overall image slightly and nothing will be cut off.

My new MF656Cdw printer cuts off the outer 1/4 inch or so of the original and replaces it with whitespace.

This happens whether making a copy or printing an image from the computer.

How do I fix that?

Hello,

Unfortunately, the MF656Cdw is unable to print borderless, the printer would put a .25-inch border around the prints. For borderless prints, I would suggest printing from an inkjet printer, most inkjet will be able to print all the way to the edge.
