&lt;P&gt;If you are using the basic airprint drivers the connection can be unstable. In this situation, I would suggest downloading and installing the &lt;A href="https://www.usa.canon.com/support/p/color-imageclass-mf743cdw?srsltid=AfmBOorERgvw2fbqPVhe_hBgO99_dbtGPxSLzJflxm7-l4vAOR89LNn_" target="_self"&gt;recommended drivers&lt;/A&gt; for your version of the mac OS from our Canon USA support site. Once the drivers have been installed, you can try adding the printer again. In the USE box near the add button, make sure the name of the printer is selected instead of airprint.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;If you continue to have issues, I suggest contacting support over the phone at 1-800-652-2666. Our agents would be happy to check what might be causing the issue.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I have a&amp;nbsp;MF743Cdw and a Mac laptop. Every time I try to print I need to turn the printer off and turn it back on if it's asleep. Otherwise I get a "Printer Not Available" in the print queue. I set it up using a static IP address instead of Airprint as Airprint is even more unreliable.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
