&lt;P&gt;The issue looks like there is a problem with the hinge on the left side of the printer. You can try opening the cover and check the hinges at the back of the printer to see if they are out of position or if there are any obstructions. While the cover is open, you can also try lifting the entire cove up and then closing it again to see if it closes properly.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;If that does not resolve the issue, it looks like the printer needs service.
