How in the world does a person scan? This is the hardest to use printer/scanner ever.

All the printer is good for is beeping. Half the time the wireless doesn't work. I haven't ever been able to get the scanner to work, but I really need it today. Any help? It keeps saying please wait a while. I can't get it to work wireless or with USB.

Canon MX479. I try to use it with my Windows 8 and Windows 7 computers with no luck.

Try scanning with our IJ Scan Utility program. If you are unable to scan, tell us what errors occur.
