Has Canon cured the upper printer tray issue for the MX920 and MG5400?

I have the MX 920 and MG 5400 and can not print from web pages today on either- although no problem yesterday. Has Canon issued an update that allows slection to lower tray. I do not have any need for a different size of paper. Frankly - if not I need go back to hP This is very uncool.

So that the Community can help you better, we will need to know about any error messages you're seeing, and the Computer Operating System you're using (Windows XP/Vista/7/8 or Mac 10.x), as well as the way you connect to your printer (USB or networked via WiFi or Ethernet). It's also helpful to know if you have the Canon software installed and what browser you're trying to print from.

Mac 10.10.5 OS X Yosemite

Wireless connection

Google Crome

Worked fine; then both printers are lloking for upper tray

Also just downloaded and installed MX920 series Scanner Driver Ver. 19.1.0a (OS X)

No change. Still looking for upper tray.

Second latest version of Mac software - not sold on the upgrade that just came out yet. Will wait for El Capitan x.1

WHat is the cure from Canon?
