I just purchased this printer and I sm having a terrible time with it. I can't consistently print to it. I am sure it is a very simple set up but I have no idea what

It tries to print but then keeps asking for paper selection. No matter what I seem to select it doesn't like it.

Not even sure 8 plugged my printer cable into the correct port. I tried top and bottom but same results.

What OS version and build are you using the printer with?

Based on your description, it sound like you are using a USB connection. Is this correct? It's important to install drivers for the printer before connecting it to a system.
