LPB226dw will not print more than 3 pages

For reasons that I can't figure out, my LBP226dw printer will not print more than 3 pages. I have the Generic Plus UFR II Printer Driver (v3.00 dated 14May2024) installed in my Win11 PC. The problem didn't occur for the first two years of use; it only started doing so about a month ago.

I can send a print job to the printer, watch the job queue up and sometimes it gets sent to the printer; sometimes it just cancels itself.

I've removed the printer, removed the driver and then reinstalled everything. I've tried all the usual methods to get things working correctly without success. Any suggested fixes would be appreciated.

Hello,

If the print job fails after a few pages or if the jobs stay in the queue, it looks like a communications issue. If you are using it with a USB cable, you can try a new cable or switching the cable to another port. If you are using the printer over a network, you can try power cycling the router that is connecting the devices or moving the printer to another location.
