&lt;P&gt;If you are getting a vertical line in your prints, it would mean there is a problem with the toner, the printer needs repair, or the fixing unit needs to be cleaned. In this situation, you can try removing the toner and then gently shaking the toner cartridge to see if the toner is evenly distributed. Once that is done, you can try cleaning the &lt;A href="https://support.usa.canon.com/kb/s/article/ART176786" target="_self"&gt;fixing assembly&lt;/A&gt; 2-3 times. If that does not resolve the issue, it looks like the printer needs service. You can check your available service options by logging into your MyCanon account.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
