Has anyone had this issue? everything prints well but faint cad lines. i have the preferences set under quality to designs [CAD] as well as the paper set to heavy with no avail. we are in a wood shop so dust is always a factor. i have tried to use clean function as well as new toner. is there any other things to clean or settings to adjust?

Without knowing all of the specifics of your environment, have you tried using General and standard settings for Objective and paper. Are you using Canon toner cartridges, or 3rd party?

it was set orig to factory specs. the toner is cannon. any other thoughts or ideas to try?
