Canon Maxify GX7021 Does Not Print Magenta or Yellow

I have a 1-year old Maxify GX7021 that does not print magenta or yellow. I've been through the recommendations in the support manual about turning the machine off and back on, which got back the cyan printing, which had been lacking also, but not the two other card colors.

Does anyone have a suggestion about how to resolve this problem?

I'm having a similar problem, only the cyan isn't working. The tank is full. I've done the nozzle check and the cleaning mode, but with no success. I got this printer from a friend. He had it for 18 months and primarily used it for printing black & white documents.

Me too. Same issues, but I've had mine since new. Terrible product, wish I could get my money back.

Hello,

The issue you are describing could be caused by air in the color ink lines. If the printer has sat for an extended period of time without being used or you rarely print in color, you can try a color only ink flush using the steps in the link HERE to clear the air from the color ink lines.

Tried this. No improvement. Local printer expert tried this. No improvement.
