Trying to change the cassette pickup roller on MF8580CDW

Trying to change the cassette pickup roller on MF8580CDW.but the pickup roller never rotates.

Did the following:

Menu 28 Menu

Copier > Function > Viffnc > FD-R-Chg > OK says executing but the pick roller never rotates.

Any suggestions?

Hi! I had the same problem. I noticed that I had ink cartridges removed and red light (error) on. It wont turn the roller in that status. I inserted all cartridges and checked that there is no errors (red light). Then it works ok. Hopefully this helps.
