Cannon Printer won't print to full page, borderless, no margin, even though I set [printer] [PDF] [Enlarge Print Area]

Any help?

Mac 14 in ch 2021, apple m1 pro 16 gb MacOS: Sonoma 14.4
Tried:

Adobe Acrobate: yes I did the set page boxes thing

I'll have to look deeper into this but I don't think most Lasers will print borderless. There is no ink absorber and the last thing you'd want is toner flying around inside your printer. 😱

**Edit. Typically if a printer supports borderless printing it states so in its specs. The 753 does not list this as supported. It's not supported on my 644 or 656 either. If you want borderless, an inkjet might be a better option.

Yea. It doesn't seem to matter what setting I try.

The device DOES have the"enlarge print" (no margin) in printer settings for "PDF". And it is talked about in the manual.

But manual also does say in troubleshooting that area, that 1/4 " margins are required for the machine...

My HP officejet Pro 8025 prints borderless from the same program.

Let me know if u get anything else definitive.

733 doesn't support borderless, similar idea to what I got in manual for 753

Also, can you direct me to, or is there, a comparably priced Canon laser printer that does have TRUE borderless printing?
