What makes you think this printer has a hard drive? It does not.

Scans can be sent to a remote computer. It does not store scans or print jobs internally.

Hi I have the Canon MF4890dw b+w printer. I am curious if Canon has some kind of software to access the hard drive in this for previously scanned images. For myself and the prior owner, they may not be aware that the images they scanned are still in this printer. They simply gave me the printer.
Also, I am curious to know if I can "clean" or erase the hard drive in this printer for the above reasons? I may sell it or give it away someday.
Thanks.
G
