    <description>&lt;P&gt;Keep getting error B504 and want to try to change the ink to see if that solves the issue with the error since we have a third party in in the printer currently. Is there a way to manually remove the ink since they printer does not what to eject the ink cartridge.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;The MB2720 would only slide the ink to the middle when it detects that one of the ink tanks are low/empty. It would slide it over only when it detects the ink is low so it can release the tank and it can be removed without spilling ink in the printer. There are some instances where third party ink has blocked the ink flow or caused problems with the ink system, and we have a service notice about the code. You can check the service notice using the link &lt;A href="https://www.usa.canon.com/support/canon-product-advisories/service-notice-maxify-b504-error?srsltid=AfmBOorJyq3SN5K4DZXippscfBtySlmyj5SSfs52N8l5EqLRqQP6rw3P" target="_self"&gt;HERE&lt;/A&gt;. In this situation, you can log into your MyCanon account to see what service options are available or check with the third-party ink company to see if they have a way to remove their tank without damaging the printer or spilling ink.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
