Hello,

Slow printing speeds or a delay before printing will usually point to a communications issue. If connected via USB, you can try connecting it to another port or directly to the computer instead of a USB hub. If it is connected over a network, you can try power cycling the router that is connecting the devices or move the printer to improve the signal strength.

We would be happy to assist with the issue. To provide some feedback or some troubleshooting steps, we would need some additional information. If you could reply to this message with the information below, we can provide some assistance.

What version of the Mac or Windows operating system are you using on your computer?

Are you connecting via USB or is it over a network?

Do you get a delay when trying to make a copy from the glass?

My least favorite part of using my MB5230 all-in-one is the extreme delays when printing. I don't think I've ever had another printer that took quite as long to start printing. I imagine this is a print head cleaning cycle, but it seems to activate every time I use my printer. Is there a way to bypass this to get an immediate print? Sometimes, I need a document right away and people are waiting on me.

Normally, I would try to call tech support, but I can't get access to a phone number as I do not have the purchase date. My office manager bought the printer, and I am not sure where from.
