Hi all, hoping someone can help...I got given an old a3 laser printer I'm having trouble with. The model is LBP-2000. I'm connecting via USB to my laptop runninh windows 7 though the printer also has a 25 pin option.

I plugged the USB printer in before installing drivers but when I did plug it in it shows up as unknown USB device and don't have the option to print to it. I've tried using a different USB port...no difference.... And I've tried manually installing drivers... That didn't work either...

Is there a way of specifying the unknown USB device is a printer? Any other workarounds?

I'm not great with computers but any advice is much appreciated! Thanks
