MF4800 printing black horizontal lines when printing pdf. Other canon printer prints fine.

I have a Canon MF4800, when I print pdf documents, it prints random black horizonatal bars, they appear to be every second line where the text is. This exact same document prints fine on a Canon MF4370. I have the same problem on 2 laptops and a desktop (all three print to the MF4370 fine, but not on the MF4800 so this is obviously a problem with the MF4800. The MF4800 prints Word and Excel documents fine, only issue is with PDF documents.
