topic MF4570dw keeps asking for date and time in Office Printers

If I turn off my MF4570dw printer for a day or so, it keeps asking me to input the date and time to get it to work. It never used to do that; is there some way to avoid having to enter it every time I go to use the printer? Is there some battery issue that I'm not aware of?

I don't know if the 4570 uses a battery or a capacitor to maintain certain settings. With that said....the 4570 goes back to 2011. It is an old machine. It might be better to replace it as opposed to attempting to repair it.

Canon Customer Service should be able to tell if a battery or a capacitor is being used.
