Printer Quality Problem with Cannon MF 8380 CDW

Cannon MF 8380 CDW is printing 1/2" long x 1/16" wide slash marks repeatably down the left-hand side of the paper about 1/2' in from the edge. It is a repeating pattern all the way down the page. We have tried to clean the unit several times with no change. Please advise. Photo attached.

The images looks like there is something wrong with the toner cartridge or the printer needs cleaning. If you have already cleaned the fixing unit, you can try reloading the toner and check for any loose toner powder on the inside of the printer that you can wipe up with a damp cloth. If those option did you resolve the issue, you can try replacing the toner cartridge. If you still have issues, it looks like there is something wrong with the hardware.
