    <description>&lt;P&gt;Brand new LBP6230DW. Having print quality issues. The first part of the print is dark (ish), the rest of the page is lighter and all of it is inconsistent. Using updated driver and have played around with print quality settings (toner density) with no effect. Toner Save is off. Paper type has no effect. Its most noticeable on transparency printing which is what I purchased the printer for. On plain paper it is still noticeable.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Is this a product defect? Toner cartridge issue? &lt;P&gt;The images look like there is something wrong with the toner cartridge. When prints start out fine and then fade, it would point to a problem with the cartridge supplying toner. In this situation, you can try removing the toner and gently shaking the toner cartridge to make sure the toner powder is evenly distributed. You can reload the toner using the steps in the link &lt;A href="https://oip.manual.canon/USRMA-0272-zz-SS-enUS/contents/SS6230_maintenance106_howtoreplacetonercartridges.html#10020010" target="_self"&gt;HERE&lt;/A&gt;. If that does not resolve the issue, you can try replacing the toner cartridge to see if it resolves the issue or you can contact support over the phone at 1-800-652-2666.
