&lt;P&gt;If you are getting lines in the black areas of your print, it will usually point to clogged nozzles in the print head. The best way to test the hardware would be to perform a &lt;A href="https://ij.manual.canon/ij/webmanual/Manual/M/MB2300%20series/EN/BG/bg-maintenance1200.html" target="_self"&gt;nozzle check&lt;/A&gt; to check for any streaking. If you see streaks and performing deep cleanings does not resolve the issue, it would mean the printer needs service. You can log into your &lt;A href="https://myprofile.americas.canon.com/us/signin/" target="_self"&gt;MyCanon&lt;/A&gt; account to check for any available service options.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;the black in in my maxify mb2320 is skipping lines. this stated happening right after i was prompted to update the firm wear. i have done all the cleaning processes multiple times. even the manual cleaning with a cotton swap. still skipping lines. i have also replaced the ink cartage.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
