Canon Image Class MF212w will not copy checks, invoices, statements, accurately

I bought an Image Class MF212w in February. With the started toner cartrdige I had no problem copying checks, vendor invoices, vendor statements, etc. I replaced the toner a couple of weeks ago. Since then I am unable to copy said itmes. Basically, any document with straight lines, numbers, etc is rendered as a distorted copy. As an accountant I need to be able to copy these items. I can scan and print these items accurately but copying is much more efficient.
