      <description>&lt;P&gt;I just purchased the ImageClass MF743Cdw and I'm trying to get the scan-to-email function working properly.&amp;nbsp; I even had my IT support person on the phone for over an hour trying to get it to work with me...neither of us could make it functional.&amp;nbsp; I keep getting errors and I've tried several times.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Here are my settings under Email/I-Fax Settings after you press the EDIT button:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P data-unlink="true"&gt;SMTP: I'm using is smtp.gmail.com&lt;BR /&gt;Email:&amp;nbsp; XXX @gmail.com&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P data-unlink="true"&gt;No boxes checked until you get to SMTP authoritzation&lt;BR /&gt;User Name:&amp;nbsp; XXX @gmail.com&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;Password:&amp;nbsp; Using an App Password set up for mail function&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Checked boxes:&amp;nbsp; Use TLS for SMTP, Verify Certificate, Add CN to Verification Items&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;No other boxes checked&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Port: I've tried both 456 and 587with no luck.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Help please!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
