ImageFORMULA DR-6010C to scan. All of a sudden a thick black box at the bottom of page?!

I am using ImageFORMULA DR-6010C to scan. And all of a sudden there is a thick black box/streak all the way across at the bottom of the page that won't go away? It even prints out onto the page when I print. How do I fix this? I work in a law office so it is important and timely that I figure this out. Thank you so much!
