I have had my MF8380CDW for years, and never an issue. Recently I tried scanning to email and it failed. I have my own private domain and mail server which I used forever. It is now getting error 806. I tried switching to gmail and an app password and it also failed. I've been thru the configs over and over again. I change ports from 587 to 465. The errors change from 806 to 839. Nothing works at all now. Does anyone have a solution even if I have to create a new smtp email account somewhere else that doesn't require TLS? Even yahoo has done away with their app passwords now so I couldn't test that.

Hello kkroggy,

Unfortunately, the MF8380Cdw does not support TLS security and we don't have any work arounds to get past the email servers security requirements. My best suggestion would be to try an unsupported email service to still use the email function on the Mf8380.
