Hi - I find that whenever the error indicator lights up, regardless of the cause (out of paper, jam, etc.), after the problem is fixed, the light does NOT turn off. I always have to restart the device. Is there any way to shut the light without restarting it?

Thank you for any advice.

Eliot

Hello Etow,

If you get an error on the printer, pressing ok or cancel should be able to clear any messages on the printer display and start printing. Some errors will start to print once the issue has ben resolved. If the error light does not clear, it will usually mean the printer needs to reset to continue printing by turning it off and on.
